Look Good Naked
And I bet they do; had more than a few spouses confirm that. Congratulations to all 22 of the 36 starting participants that set goals and consistently followed through in their efforts to complete the Look Good Naked Challenge. The grand finale was a Primal Feast, raffles, prizes awarded and a joyful celebration of our CrossFit family and friends.
With a crowd of 50+ friends and family I am counting my blessings; very, very lucky to be surrounded by such a group of fine people. The energy and camaradie of like minded individuals was impressive. We ate, we partook in moderation of libations, we conversed, shared, laughed and celebrated setting and reaching our goals.
36 individuals attended our kickoff Primal Feasting Seminar on 1/9/10 and initiated the Challenge on 1/15/10 which concluded on 3/11/10. Weekly food intake logs were mandatory during the 8 week challenge and consistent CrossFit exercise strongly recommended. We had 22 participants see the Challenge though to completion. After photos, weight and body fat were taken to make the final assessments. The Judges: Coaches Paula, Mike and Mel had very difficult decisions to make as many competitors were very, very close. We had a total of 211.5 pounds lost, 50.6% body fat lost and numerous individual accomplishments in lifestyle changes and greatly improved performance in many.
The Top Ten: 1st Kevin Fischer, 2nd Dan Bergin, 3rd Elyse Madison, 4th Danielle McClendon, 5th Richard Nussel, 6th Brian Holsopple, 7th Sharon Daniely, 8th Tanya Weldon, 9th Jenn Cloudman and tied for 10th Kim Suarez and Debbie Rupe

Where do we go from here?–was a question put to the participants during the award ceremony. Needless to say if you go back to doing exactly as you were before you will end up with what you had. Lifestyle changes made are meant to permanent and continually improved upon. It is a journey that many of us have started on and that has no end. The road or path is often plagued with obstacles and challenges; there is always a way over, under, around or through and the rewards greatly overshadow the difficulties. Congratulations to all!
