I decided in June 2010 after watching the Tampa Classic Bodybuilding competition that I wanted to try to do a competition. I had always been athletic but also addicted to sweets and always trying to lose the last 10 pounds (especially after each of my kids).

Before the Challenge, I thought I was just one of those people who couldn’t stick to healthy eating. I constantly craved junk food–fast food, sweets,comfort foods, starchy foods such as bread. I wanted to lean out, but couldn’t last more than three days on any diet because I’d crave those foods and give up.
